Find New Information On Some New Sites

Thank you for visiting. Today I want to talk about something other than low carb and no carb foods. One thing I really like about the internet is the number of great people you can meet from all over the world. I have made friends with people in Greece, Spain, England, Australia, Taiwan, The Philippines, New Zealand and many others. Every once in a while we help each other out by sharing sites with our visitors. This is what I am doing today. All of the websites here are great resources for their audiences why don’t you check them out too.

One of my friends has a wonderful site on creating cheap meals. This is something we could all use help with in these economic times. Check out the money saving tips at Meal Planning. As they say, if you don’t make a plan, you plan to fail.

I don’t know about you but I really love the taste of a fresh brewed cup of coffee. The problem is, if I am home alone, by the time I get to the bottom of the pot it is definitely no longer fresh brewed. Instead it is more like brewed mud. I have found the best way to always get a fresh cup is to use small coffee pots that just brew a cup or two at a time. Check out that link if you are tired of old, stale coffee.

My friend Trunfio has a great sourdough recipe and we are famous for that up here in the Northwest. Lots of people think San Francisco sour dough is good but you haven’t tried anything till you’ve had the bread the miners and lumberjacks up here in the Big Woods eat every day. Check out her Sourdough Bread Starter here.

Here’s a recipe that is great for those cold rainy and snowing days of winter. Nothing takes the chill away like Homemade Beef Stew. And the great thing is, if you leave out the potatoes, this can be a great low carb meal at the same time. Try out this recipe for dinner tonight.

Here’s another great recipe to try and it is low in carbs because it is pork. In fact, we had pork for dinner last night and it was delicious. Cook up some Healthy Pork Tenderloin Recipes tonight. Pork, the other white meat.

If you are interested in sea food then another friend has a site you just have to visit.  This website is dedicated to the succulent shrimp and dishes using this bounty from the sea.  Check out Delicious Shrimp Recipes and see what I mean.

The last website is on a subject that is near and dear to my heart. In fact, I started this blog because of this very problem. It deals with the diabetes epidemic in this country and in particular children with diabetes. Our diets play a very large part in how healthy we are and the biggest cause of the increase in Type II diabetes is the high carb foods we consume. Visit Kids With Diabetes for ideas on cooking healthy meals together.

As I said, these are all great resources for information and they are all sites that I know you will enjoy. Check some of the out and see what I mean.
